Let's go over some EP rules: 1) we don't have to listen to any songs on EPs that are repeats of their album counterparts and 2) we can't name those songs as our favorites. As a result, we aren't going to be talking about the actual song I Palindrome I in this write up. We're also going to be spending a lot less time focusing on thematic content, usually, since these EPs are often used to collect outtakes.

With Cabbagetown, we've officially heard all the songs at the Sandinista rally except one that isn't part of this challenge (Penguine). Cabbagetown is a real place outside of Atlanta, and this song really throws the themes of Lincoln down very directly. It talks a lot about the cyclical nature of existing in a small town; you can't escape it. I just adore the melancholy, slow vibe on this song, and I really like this version from TMBG Unlimited.

I can't say much about Siftin', but it's got a fun, synthy feel. It's very Flood to me; it isn't more than what it is. This makes sense, since it was recorded in the Flood era.

I don't care for the Joshua Fried remixes very much. Larger Than Life is the Joshua Fried remix of She's Actual Size, and it's fine. I like Miss Linda and Sensi's reggae vocals on it quite a bit.
