SONGS FOR CHOP

So this is an EP comprised of promos for The Chopping Block, which was a graphic design company that is now called the Chop Shop Store. They did the print work for Mink Car and No! as well as some website stuff.

This is a weird EP. There's a remix of Robot Parade for... Robot Design, I guess. There's a bunch of versions of Oranges and Graphic Design, which was already on They Got Lost and I didn't have much to say about it then.

This kind of differs from the Dunkin' campaign on a fundamental level, because here TMBG is singing about something that they actually have experience with, as opposed to likely doing Dunkin' both for the money and for having grown up in Mass. At the same time, I have less to say about it than Dunkin' because it's... not a particularly prevalent brand? I don't know anything about the Chop Shop and I don't really want to.

They have some T-shirts, I guess. I don't really like any of them because they aren't really my style. This has nothing to do with our dislike of Mink Car, I swear, because the album art for Mink Car is actually the best part of that record. I just don't really... I don't.
