This is a Mono Puff EP containing the single from Unsupervised, which is the namesake.
I won't talk about the title track, since it's on Unsupervised, and I'll talk about it with Unsupervised.
Oddball is a cover, and I generally don't have that much to say about covers — it's a good cover, but it's a cover. It was performed live with the original artist, Frank Black, in 1996. I think that's neat.
Tryptophane has some great piano work on it, and interesting lyrics that I cannot hope to decipher. Notably, tryptophan (no e) is an amino acid used in the synthesis of proteins. Maybe it's about the horror of knowing you're nothing but chemical reactions. Shrug.
There's another version of The Devil Went Down To Newport on here that's longer and more funky. I like it.
